  now on the other side... a new show about a new vegan restaurant... i'll give it a miss coz i'll lose my appetite

  I couldn't go running this morning, cos I had to go see the florist who's doing the flowers for my wedding....

  So I went running after dinner..... I ran 10 clicks instead of my planned 21 clicks cos I don't want to zonk myself out too much at the start of the new work week....

  Problem is, I don't feel good about any of the candidates on the ballot, regardless of their party affiliation, as there has been so much mudslinging, slander, backstabbing and character assassination in their election campaigns.

  In any event, the main reason for my going to the election tomorrow is to vote down the stupid school levy referendum which, if passed, will result in a significant increase in our property taxes. As it is, our local school district has a history of mismanaging its budget in addition to spending money on frivolous projects like building a huge indoor stadium for one of its high schools.

  if it actually happens, you can blame either the GOP or the teabagger nutters or the asses...

  either way, you may actually be right

  it's been raining a lot so it's pretty good...

  watching River Cottage on tv now.. the guy has gotten the village a small little farm thingy.. with pigs... but the adults are charmed by the pigs and are not ready to turn them into bacon rashers  

  the children, however, are looking forward to pork chops
