here are the information when you read food enhancer that doesn't say MSG added and want to know what it means..............
E620 L-Glutamic acid - might cause similar problems as MSG(621), young children should avoid it
E621 - Monosodium glutamate (MSG) -can be an allergen, not permitted in foods for infants and young children
E622 - Monopotassium glutamate - can cause nausea, vomiting, diarrhoea , abdominal cramps. Typical products are low sodium salt substitutes
E627 - Disodiumguanylate - not permitted in foods for infants and young children
E631 - Disodium inosinate - not permitted in foods for infants and young children

They're all deriatives of glutamates, they have the same effect on your tastebuds no matter what metal ions they're attached to.

but the labelling will said No Preservatives. but the content will indicate E621

That's because it's a flavour enhancer, not a preservative.
Since glutamates also occur in nature in small quantities, the label may also claim 'No Artificial Flavours'. Glutamates may also be listed as 'yeast extract' or 'hydrolysed vegetable protein'.
So chim... everything put in mouth must read know so much ....where got fun eating...

That is because there are people who are allergic to MSG....and guess what almost all food sold in Hawker food center have MSG.
