actually, even our surrounding waters are not spared .....
they've imported atlantic red drum and permit into the fish farms ... and escapees have been showing up .....

there are plenty of red drum in the atlantic ....
the taiwanese first imported them over from the atlantic .....
now people call them taiwan ngor and most don't know they are actually atlantic transplants .....
