our tap water is so clean alrdy...
I'm wondering why would ppl go on to buy purifier.
Unless it's upnorth.

purifiers and filters.. i often laugh when i get the answer to the question: how often do you change the filter?

Seriously those unwanted bacteria grows very quickly on the filter surface

People buy a water purifier because of all the health scares on how damaging chlorine is on your health
But the thing is chlorine evaporates if you let the water stand for about 30 secs after boiling.
Now our water also contains chloramines which cannot be removed through filtration and evaporation. The reason why chloramines are used in our water is because it is more stable compared to chlorine.
If you noticed for the filters they always say “Removes chlorine” but they n ever mention chloramines
So in the end also LPPL

Irreconcilable Differences

My cousin who tricked me into letting her MLM goons into my house tried to hardsell me her $2000 filter by saying the same thing about chlorine.
I shot back that the chlorine levels in our tap water are well within WHO standards for potability, and that if you were to take out the chlorine then you would not be able to store the water for long due to bacterial growth.
They got really uncomfortable and changed the subject immediately.

Sometimes they say you don’t really get to know a person till you get married.
I know couples who dated for over 10 years and they get married and got a divorce in less than a year
And from the report it seems that she got a shock seeing her MIL at the airport; as in she wasn’t expecting to see her there and that she is even going to follow them on their honeymoon.

Btw our PUB uses chloramines. They are a pain in the ass to remove and you can only neutralize it by adding chemicals to the water
If they want proof, I will have to go dig out the PUB letter which was on the fish forum I go to

I know there are a lot of things you won't know. But if that guy was really tied to the mom's apron strings, that should have been obvious or at least visible before marriage.
If it was an unsound/unreasonable mother, that would be another issue.

There are MANY guys I know who think their gf is sweet, innocent and gentle because she is really good at hiding her true colours.
But once married, she shows her true colours. Haha
