on the side note, a collick of mine ask us to help her with her daughters homework... a math question but alot of us couldn't get the answer.
It took me quite awhile to get an explanation using algebra which the question state cannot use...
nowadays primary math become more tough?

I never got the hang of drawing models and stuff back in Primary 6.
Not suprisingly, I got C for Maths during PSLE.
Even now, I still have a lot of problems with that. Really.

yeah... I could handle tat problem with algebra, no problem... but to use models (those bar thingy) to explain is rather difficult...giving math tuition to primary school students might be tougher then secondary school students >___>

I never used the bar/figure methods. even in primary school I used algebra. The bar method is just weird and insanely hard. No idea why they chose to teach that in primary school....

They keep on culling the number of brand varieties they're willing to bring in once they've NTUC housebrand item.
She tells me Sheng Siong better. No need to be hypermart style to sell some household items like pans.
