elffin busy today; i'm resigned to the fact that fridays and in particular the hours of 1600-1900 are the worst.

In other news, I have a piece of rice stuck in one of my teeth since last night.
All manner of rinsing, picking, brushing, and flossing can't seem to dislodge it.
I've already made a dental appointment for tomorrow if it comes down to that, but if I can dislodge the piece today, then I can cancel the appointment.
Any suggestions, guys?

if you can score some chewing gum, that will stick it out.. you can go to a pharmacy and see if they have dental gum which you can buy (that stuff is still legal)

if not, there's always toffees which will create a mess in the teeth.. but that is soluble and can dissolve then be brushed out

It's either a grain of hard uncooked rice, or a sesame seed.
Either way, the last thing I want is for it to rot away and infect my gums.
Which is why I'm going to the dentist tomorrow if I can't resolve it by today.
Besides, I believe the grain got stuck in a cavity there that needs to be filled.
