Hell, they didn't even give two hoots about my initial email politely requesting the slip. It took several successively ruder and angrier emails, all with me threatening to go to the media, before they finally got it right.
What's wrong with some companies these days? Would it kill them to just treat their customers decently without making them having to blow their top? Don't they realize that bad publicity kills business for them.... or do they need their customers to remind them by having to threaten to go to the media?

You got that darn right.Its endemic because of the Singapore cheaper, better, faster drive.
My friends are now stuck while I am released from my contract because they are deemed to be "crucial to the project". Apparently interns are even cheaper than part-timers and "easier to manipulate" due to several binding requirements.
For obvious reasons they don't look terribly busy now and take plenty of breaks.
They could not learn much from being collectively known as "the call centre" would they? So they don't give a rat's ass about productivity...even if it affects the testimonial.

I've been saved from eating junk.....
I was going to McTrash to buy a McFlurry.... but the counter staff told me that their ice cream machine has broken down.
So I ended up going to the Engin canteen to buy a soyabean drink instead.

wonder if anyone here can help? I'm very suakoo cos I hardly buy DVDs to watch movies and all.. but now I desperately need to buy Toy Story 3!! I went to a few stores and its sold out :(
Besides err TS and Bluemax, does anyone know what other shops sell DVDs like that? I'll call them to check if there's stock!

Well...same old debate again.But its an unpleasant experience cycling on SG roads leh. Especially since most bikes have no rear mirrors etc that would allow cyclists to see traffic behind.And then what did he mean by "motorists are fined for far less serious offenses"?You know, this guys sounds like one of those snobbish people who drive Merc and walk in the middle of the footpath.And....you guys heard?
