cyclists think because they are vulnerable, they have the right to do whatever the hell they please...
there is a hell of a lot of personal responsibility involved which they don't want to address

And then we had the case where the kid langa the guy in a carpark and the guy actually died.

i got hit by an old man cycling in the market before.. right where my back injury was.. and i just got back to work after being 5 weeks on MC for that injury which laid me out on bed rest for that 5 weeks!
and yesterday, some cyclist dressed in black decided to kick the car of zora's brother who inched out of a parking lot.. he then decided to verbally abuse everyone in the car when they came out to see why he kicked the car..
it's a busy street, he's hard to see, the car didn't hit him, it was not moving, and a mad cyclist just decided to kick his car when cycling past...
i think lots of cyclists have chips on their shoulders...

The cyclist must be an idiot who doesnt use his ears.
Even if I'm walking, I would be wary of any sound of engine running and give a wide berth once I see the car. If I'm cycling, obviously I would be more alert and brakes on standby.
Talk is cheap.
I langa once. But that one time was bad enough. Old man appeared from nowhere from behind the wall and I jammed brake but skidded and hit him in the midriffs. Luckily I wasnt going fast, so it was more like a bump to his stomach, but it scared the shit out of both of us.
Granted, of cos I wasnt supposed to be cycling under the block, but the idiots who lived on the first floor hang clothes, put flower pots on the walkway making it practically impossible for me to wheel my bike through bcos of lack of space.

you're still cycling where you should not..
i was cycling on a cycling track and ran over a little boy who dashed out from a hidden stairway...
all over the stairway, there were signs saying "beware of cyclists" and "look out for traffic"
i literally ran over him.. and then i think his parents are old school because he got smacked upside the head by them for being an idiot too!
btw.. when i cycled, i always wear white, whether daytime or night.. when the light starts to fail, i turn on both my front light and my rear red blinking light...
and yes, i wore a helmet

my local tour guide (tibet tour) told me Japan not safe to travel as radiation is still "high" there...is it safe now? i am looking at the hokkaido packages too.. thought of going end of year.. but will be cold leh :(
