But I thought its common knowledge that you cant just take any song and modify the lyrics and call it "original"...!
The other scenario is even more retarded and seems more likely from the interview:

I remember Robbie Williams once got sued..... for taking one single line from an existing song, modifying it somewhat, and adding it to one of his songs.

Ok, they did a trace to this ridiculous case....
Turns out a taxi driver owe money....client out-source debt case to us, then taxi uncle talk to this tai-tai who was his passenger, and actually recommended us as top-notch ah-longs. And gave our number to her!
WTH. I didnt even think taxi uncle bohliao enough to talk about this.

i see there is talk of accidents...
one of my colleagues' wife got into an accident.. totally not her fault...
she was minding her own business, driving up the road between the Changi Airfreight Centre when a car from the other side of the road, lost control, smashed over the centre divider through the bloody fence and destroyed her car while flipping over and ending up lying on its roof...
all ended up in hospital..
when all were discharged, the driver of the car who lost control had the balls to attempt to claim against my colleague's wife!!
of course, the police report was just shown and the insurance company probably told the driver to go screw himself and the biggest spider he can find, then charge him insane premiums x 10
poor lady, still receiving physiotherapy after 10 months.. and the car was a total write-off because it was 6 to 7 years old already.. they now have no car

Must be the asshole type who speed, lose control, and make everyone else's life involved miserable.
Reminds me of the accident I saw on the NS highway when I went to Melaka...the one that killed 5 out of 6 people. Guy was obviously driving at high speeds and everyone paid the horrific price.

should go talk to a lawyer you know .... if so many people can claim whiplash injury from 60kph fender benders, then I'm sure your colleague can screw the other fellow over for some money and satisfaction.
