  Reminds me of one of my BMT section mates from RJC.....

  He got 2As and one B for his A Levels, and he was so proud of himself.....

  ..... until he discovered that two other fellas from so-called 'lesser JCs' got four straight As. He was so distraught and whined about it so much that we all wanted to b*tchslap him.

  Later that night, he decided to go into Rocky Balboa mode, slipped out of his bunk, and went running at the BMTC sports complex.

  Some other company's COS caught him, he got tekaned left right center, and my section commander got a few extras for not controlling him.

  This was particularly epic facepalm for me, because I was one of those two fellas from the 'lesser JCs'.

  Remind me of an incident my fren told me... He was doing his guard duty when he got spooked out... Middle of the night, while doing guard duty walking ard the camp, someone was running ard the carpark -____- He had to go back and report becoz he's scared dunno human or ghost

  And then he was in disbelief that others could do better than that mediocre result (mediocre in his case)??

  Its hard to believe there are such dumb people, but of cos I wasn't at the scene to say the least....shucks.

  As my friend from RJC puts it, something is wrong if you don't get 3As and above.

  Yeah, I know. I think he was stuck in his own world.

  Or maybe he knew that his results suck compared to his classmates, so he was trying to take comfort that his platoon mates from the 'lesser JCs' (his own words) did worse than he did.

  He was the black sheep of the platoon, and the ultimate chao keng case. He never attended a single day of grenade throwing, outfield, and bayonet fighting. He did just two sessions of SOC, and he fell out both times.

  We were all so damn p*ssed that we sent petitions to the Orientation Officer to declare him OOC and to make him redo the whole BMT.

  The OO was so taken aback by our petitions that he actually forwarded them to CO. And the CO actually came down one fine day to personally brief my platoon that he could not declare the bugger OOC because..... he still passed his IPPT.

  It sucks to have bunkmates like him.

  My BMT mates bonded really well during that time. And when one of us had to OOC due to bronchitis...he did so pretty reluctantly and lingered around for the next few weeks.

  But after passing out, we met up only probably twice and I havent heard from them since. Such is life with the passing of time.

  The same couldn't be said of the other sections.

  One was polarised between the elites and heartlanders, another was polarised by weirdoes and cuckoos, and the last was just a plain full-blown bitch-fight within the ah-guas which eventually led to plenty of trouble.
