And of course they know about Assam since they occupied India for I think 89 years
I have been thinking A1 was also from UK, but copied and became successful in USA?
Ok UK too but yeah it is more popular in USA than in UK
HP more popular in UK
Ya so makes sense for them to use assam

Any case e narrow top bottle L&P sauce is the original one?
Assam to make it sour?
Sigh.... the fella who aeroplaned me twice yesterday is now ten minutes late.
Seriously, would it hurt to just, like, be on time for appointments?
You shld just lock your door and put no disturb.....some of my profs do that for cuckoos like that.
Anyway, my new timetable looks orgasmic....no lunch for Mon and Tue.
huat ah!
And I made a promise to a friend, if I get past this sem with my bunched up exams with good grades, I'm gonna do thesis.

What do you mean? You were not considering going on to do your honours year?

Thesis is not a honours requirement at my side.
Okay, after I shot a rather snide email to that 'aeroplane pilot', he rushed down to my lab and helped me with programming my simulation.
And all it took was 15 minutes for him to help me. This guy's aeroplaning cost me 1 1/2 days of fruitless work when it could have taken him just 15 minutes for him to help.
I've still got plenty of work to do, but those 15 minutes of help certainly helped clear a lot of problems. That said, I'm still not happy at being stood up twice and almost being stood up a third time just to get that help.
Gah. To heck with this.... I'm going out for lunch.
I realised only Peter Pan & Planters peanut butter are from USA.
Skippy is from cardboard..

there's also steffi (i think). peter pan is my substitute when pinderkaas runs out
I still prefer Adam's, those I can get at farmer's markets and anything that's just nuts only. I bought cashew butter at Brown Rice Paradise for $13 (!) and liked it too.
I have 10 minutes to stone and rot before I have to teach again. Thankfully this week doesn't seem as crazy as the last one.

I don't eat Peanut Butter either so I don't care
I like this black seaseme spread from Japan
it's just too bad we don't have that many nut or seed butter varities sold here - almond, cashews, sunflower seeds etc.

there's cashew? wow! but it's exp! maybe i should blend the roasted ones my grandma passes to me in the food processor, my friend does that with her peanuts. cashews are cheap in thailand and grandma gets loads of them whenever my couz goes there.
I got this really nice Walnut oil from Canada
The black sesame spread is really nice. It's sweetened with honey too
Not very sweet
Even fussy MPB likes it LOL
I so happen to chance upon this! I wonder if they still have the fermented crab!!

it's very near to my house .... walk across what's left of the park ... go past hazel park condo, and you'll see the place besides a huge longkang.
the place gets very crowded, and you'll see many people ordering the crabs.
they have a good turnover on crabs so you won't get the shrunken ones in glass tanks, their crabs come fresh straight out of styrofoam boxes ... and they are not puny ones either ...
be prepared to wait for the food though .... they make em fresh and you'll have to wait for the crabs to bake if you order the signature salt bake crabs ...
the curry fish head is also good, but then when it comes to fish heads, I'm spoilt by the assam fish head at changi village ...

There's almond and walnut butter too. Pistachio would be nice.
It's too bad I can't snack on nuts at work this week because one of the kids attending this week's workshop is allergic to them.
