  Pinky, I realised the Kit Kat are mostly from UK these days. It's only the small traditional finger size pack that's from Malaysia

  these past few mornings I stopped over at a woodlands kopitiam to tah bao breakfast before heading over to my clients ....

  the morning before I got a packet of econ beehoon with a chicken wing and taiwanese sausage ..... total came to $1.70 ... I thought, cheap ....

  this morning I got the same, except that I asked for a mix of beehoon and noodles instead, and added some curry veggie sauce ..... total .... $3.80 ...

  Seriously I find only some hawker centre are still selling cheap hawker food. Woodlands Centre is one of them.

  there's Domino's Pizza there if you want pizza.. not that nice...

  then there's Grill Out if you want steak and grilled meats

  Megumi if you want Japanese

  a barbeque/steamboat buffet place if you like that

  and for desserts, do not even think of missing Buttercake & Cream and have either their Rum Souffle or Amaretto Souffle... their warm Chocolate Cake is also lovely...

  then there's the revamped "Chin Huat Seafood" which looks damned expensive now because they stock live stuff like geoduck, Alaskan king crab, lobsters (both the clawed and the crayfish versions), dungeness crabs, Sri Lankan mudcrabs and one time i saw mantis shrimp.. along with the usual groupers and other types of fish

  yah.. it seems nice.. but we never went further than the grill and dessert place coz those are good...

  oh yah.. there's a pretty quiet and uncrowded pub there too
