are taxis considered "private transport" ?

That's the govt for you there......
Govt believes strongly in market forces....yet clearly doesn't. It regulates the market as it sees fit in short.....not as what we see fit.
They claimed they believe in free market forces....but the fact is all these regulations and all fly in the face.
Auctioning is the purest form of the demand and supply model, but its also the fastest way to ensure those who can't make it dies. Our GINI coefficient is a reflection of our govt's "meritocratic" vision....
And demand and supply isn't the only way to work out how to allocate....there are so many other ways. This is the simplest and most cheapest, fastest way. If you want to let market forces decide taxis while figuring out how to deal with Aljunied GRC, well, this is one way, never mind that they do not get why people are upset that they couldn't get cars and still got whacked by laoya public transport...and get voted out anyway.
My HTC Desire broke down again with the exact same problems exactly one week after I received it from them with the motherboard changed.
They replaced the motherboard yet again. But just too bad - my trust in HTC is totally kaput.
No more chances this time. I'm putting it up for sale. I'm getting a new phone this weekend.

It seems as if SE is the only brand that you can use.
After reading about the US debt fiasco, I can feel Obama's frustration. Without tax increases where will they get revenue from? They've had to "compromise" by cutting budgets again. Either way, the less well-off suffer the most. I could sense the pinch there last year.

The circle line is indeed useless for MOST of us... and they are really removing the shuttle bus after CCL is up...
U can see 10 and 30 de ridership go up...

The real value of money lies in its scarcity.
When you print more money with the level of goods and services remaining constant, the value of the currency will fall.
And the US dollar is already taking a major beating as it is.

SEVEN minutes?!?!?!?
And there I was, waiting for the day when I no longer have to jostle for space on no.95 to NUS.

Good Morning..
eh..for my case, 7mins wait for me is WAY BETTERR...than my almost a 1.5hr tedious bus 105 ride to my previous playground at Holland V.. last time every weeked when I reached there, my appetitte for good food is almost 1/2 gone..
now back to the playground to meet my friends, take me like 30mins max

the CCL is useful to me..:D x1000 times...!!! Serangoon is like an outcast for the past 25 years... and only 1 collectible bus 105 passes my part of the estate and recenlty added a bus 58.....luckily still got 135 and 133 nearby.....
. -.-"

The more USD the US prints, the bigger shithole China will get in due to all the bonds they are holding

She is sick already... productivity already low. Prevent further spread of inproductivity by isolating affected ones out of the herd.
