  IE didn't mess up my PC, but the problem of it spontaneously being in off line mode is quite widespread. And with the newer version of IE it is not as easy as clicking IE/Tools clear the check mark on Work off-line. I need to go on-line to get the solution.

  Imagine if I had only one browser and its IE. And if thats corrupted, how am I going to get connected to the net?

  IE is acting strange, no more off line message when I am on line, but sgF page now have all quotes expanded. This is because of Win Vista, everytime install update, something else goes haywire.

  Mancha, you don't need to rebookmark all your favourite sites (if your favourites in IE is a mile long).

  Follow my below instructions:

  • Click on the "Wrench" tool on the same level beside your address bar
  • Hover to "Bookmarks â–º"
  • Hover to the top and click "Import Bookmarks & Settings"
  • Tada!  and the rest is history ...  

  That's all.
