  fatumnette just called me to say she's ordered a new i7 macbook online .....

  I told her for that kind of money I can buy two of my PC lappies and still have change left over to upgrade the ram ...... -__-"

  the new Windoze 7 has caught up with Mac OS..

  in the past when i got my macbook, it was either mac, or windoze vista.. and vista is a pile of steaming turd...

  heck.. was running a simple brickout game on the old XP machine, it ran at 60 to 65 fps at the most intense level... for newer (and faster) Vista machine ran it at 15 - 40 fps

  when my macbook dies, if windoze still has a good OS, i'll go with the cheaper version...

  i wonder.. what is Chrome OS like? never heard about it after a while..

  Come to think of it, i got my i7 when it first came out on the market... Hefty price but last me alllllllllll the way till now... and it has served it's purpose well...

  any processor would become obsolete in 18 months anyways.

  for the price of that lappie she could have gotten an i5 windows lappie, a new iphone, plus a new ipad and still have change left over .... -__-"

  anyway, i'm going to sleep.. night shift tonight...

  talking about computers and stuff, i might just get a tablet if i want to get more mobility... i like the new Sony tablet... it's got a pile of Playstation games for purchase.. thinking of doing some of the games on it again.. like Parasite Eve (first one) or maybe even attempt to solve FF7

  with that, i'm going to nap...
