all for 1 egg sandwich. anyway, i had a nice homemade bread/bun for brekkie today.
Good morning.
Oh, I didn't realise that my premier membership expired yesterday. No wonder KAz is a size smaller.
Ok I never dreamed that one day I would have to give a call to SOS.
If only for the sake of a possibly sucidal case....and a VERY delusional one as well.

The same dude you were talking about the other time?
Sad to say after talking to both of them separately, I concluded that the sex-crazed dude was sane.
If only because the bf turned out to be in a far worse state.
zzzzzzz
can't believe i sneezed so much the other day my back hurts
I like this guy's arguments about the woes of USA and much of the financial problems we face today etc.
But....
Singapore has had the distinction of having prioritized social and economic equity while achieving very high rates of growth over the past 30 years — an example par excellence that inequality is not just a matter of social justice but of economic performance.
That left me gaping.
he's saying that it is right and just to ensure this huge gaping inequality?
i wonder whose right-wing GOP fart he's been sniffing

Sure boh?
Ten seconds on Google, and I found out that our Gini coefficient has been increasing!
Has he been smoking some strong stuff?
Actually he is partially right.
The GINI coeff (which is not the sure-fire way of measuring inequality anyway) did stay fairly low and constant over the last 30 year. It was really from the lates 90s when it suddenly went shooting up.
But was he sure that PAP had been prioritising equality over that period? I think the low GINI trend was more like a by-product of education measures, MNC employment etc etc.
Certainly the moment we stuck to those measures and let foreigners in, the whole thing went pear-shaped.

i think it was when MBT came in and they started becoming greedy
I am in 2 minds about it:
1. Certainly Dr Ng wasnt very serious about the seriousness.
2. Or so it appears to be. The reporter had phrased the question cunningly and I daresay also, there are many reporters out there who are more than willing to twist the Q&A to make "sensational" news.

It's all about diplomacy. If what you say is going on the public record, then you should answer a stupid question with a non-stupid answer.
Heck, in any interview (job, scholarship, otherwise), stupid questions are sometimes intentionally asked. The interviewer just wants to see how you handle a stupid question.
What I would have said:
'Well, it's honestly refreshing to see our youth being genuinely concerned about the wellbeing of themselves and their loved ones in the future instead of merely living for the present. That can only bode well for the future of this nation.'
Sounds so much better, no?

Not according to this study.
Though I have to seriously question their methodology of using social media postings (including, presumably, Facebook wall posts) to arrive at their conclusion.
been so busy the whole morning but glad everything's cleared up
I had a rather eventful train ride to work this morning.
At Bedok one fella rushed for the seat next to me. While he was doing so, the train suddenly accelerated..... and he ended up on my lap.
Then at Buona Vista Circle Line platform, the doors repeatedly refused to close due to some obstruction. Whether it was a door fault, or the last cockanaden who squeezed himself in refused to accept that there was no more space for him, I don't know.
My favourite highlight was still years ago, when this kanchiong spider squeezed and shoved to the front of the crowd as the bus pulled up.
His head was duly knocked pretty hard by the bus's side-mirror.
i think i'm going to go walk around and buy a nice 2m long microUSB cable.. the one that came with the Kindle is starting to fall apart.. the rubber coating has split and is disintegrating
having cappucino (the instant 3-in-1 one) now
