CSHH is quite a poseur place lah (and damn difficult to get there)
but the coffee is pretty good
i had the cold brew
came in those old skool medicine bottle

It's been a long time since I had a decent cold brew that is left overnight...
I like Papa Palheta at bukit timah there... Nice small cosy place but it's really really really quite small so it's better to go in small groups (1-3 person)... Though finding the entrance is extremely hard for first-timers
But the last I heard was the place was closing down or no more... I believe I have a pic of the place at my nom nom thread... (come to think of it, I have tons of picture from numerous nom nom session but have not find time to put them up yet...)

They closed and merged their operations with CSHH. They're owned by the same people.

Hmmm, tat I didn't know wor...Indeed, Papa Palheta's coffee standard to me is above 40 Hands, though I love the moment when u step into 40 Hands and the smell of coffee just overwhelms u...
Well, there is another shop which is not bad but I left the card at home... Will let u know the name at a later time...

While we're on the subject of coffee.....
A little over a year ago I bought a Nescafe Dolce Gusto coffee maker. It had been on special offer - only $120.
FS has been talking about buying a higher-end Nespresso machine, but I vetoed the idea - coffee is coffee, and while Dolce Gusto ain't perfect, it was still a step up from the instant coffee I had been drinking up to that point
The only thing that really bothers me is that it only accepts proprietary capsules.
