Shoes That Replicate Being Barefoot May Be Bad For Your Bones
Which is why I never bought into this whole 'barefoot running' craze.
In the first place I have been diagnosed as being flat-footed, and I was nearly made to face a medical board for PES downgrade as a result. Barefooted running is not going to help strengthen the arches in my feet...... when I have no arches to begin with.
Besides, Vibram Fivefingers just look plain silly, especially if you're wearing them with your street clothes in a non-running capacity.
The prosecution rests, Your Honour.
Thursday~!!!!!
Just 1 more day to go~~

The most important thing is that you land with your legs bent and your knees straight. And if you want to run barefoot or minimal do it on a forgiving surface and clock up the mileage slowly. When I first started out it was such a strain on the calf muscles.

There are plenty of better looking shoes from Merrell and Kigo (which I use) and even the big players like NB and Nike. It should be as comfortable as walking around the house barefoot.
Another type of shoe I am really sceptical of : Masai Body Technology (MBT) shoes.
They proclaim that it is some super-revolutionary shoes that are more biomechanically-efficient and whatnot..... but all I see is an odd, overpriced pair of shoes with a curved sole.
MBT has a store at Marina Square. Seriously, out of dozens of times I have walked past that shop, I have seen customers in there only once or twice. I wonder how they pay their rent.
Skechers has released a chiong version of MBT, but from what I can tell reviews have been negative.

This is just bullshit, like Mabok Tongue.
Four delegates from China, Russia, the United States and Malaysia attended the United Nations' Meeting. All the nations were discussing about space exploration by the year 2000. Here are some of the conversations:
China Delegate: 'By the year 2000, China will start their moon exploration project. '
Russian Delegate: ' We too, we are going to explore the moon. This time we will see to it that our cosmonauts will step on the moon.'
Bill Clinton: ' We the United States will also explore the moon for second time.'
Malaysian Delegate: 'By the year 2000, Malaysia will explore the sun.'
There was a long silence, Bill Clinton stood up and asked the Malaysia Delegate: ' Isn't it too hot to explore the sun?'
Malaysian Delegate (smiling): 'I had this thought out already. We will do it in the evening.'
I get the funny part as the sun still hot in the evening...
but may I know why msia in particular???
Who knows?
I just copy and paste from another forum.

running BF as well?
am using vibrams for my runs - sure it took a long time to get used to it but i'm happy with the transition. at the very least, i think it helped correct my running gait.
using merrell footglove for gym work - i like that it's lightweight and have a more "ground" feel.
@fudge: actually you can strengthen or "build up" your arches. i'm or was flat footed - but with yoga and a good teacher who taught me how to lift my arches (stand, walk, press into the 4 corners of your feet etc), my feet is not pancake-smashed into the ground.
Boys and girls~ It's FRIDAYYYYYYY~~~~~~~~~
yay!
I seriously cannot imagine 6.9m population in Singapore...
Just imagine all the foodstuff in NTUC sold out fast... Even now, some potato chips already sold out so fast, food court queue so long... ur lunch effectively becomes 2h due to the queuing up...
sibei jialat sia... I just went 7-11 to buy breakfast, they ran out of sandwhich... wth sia... And I was craving for a toasted sandwhich... End up I went to hoot 2 big pau and 4 siew mai, which cost much more then 1 toasted sandwhich -___-
Seriously, dude?
To me, one big chicken pau = one 7 Eleven sandwich
liew, the siew mai so small, 1 mouth 1 siew mai gone...
zzz...
at times like this, I wish I have Tiong Bahru Market's Siew mai... Big n juicy...
2 big pau??
Ok, so I know you have a big appetitie.....but still....??
Normally breakfast = economic noodles + 2 side and 1 chicken wing
