  the thing is, you wont know if the person is infected a not in the 1st place..
  in fact many HIV+ persons dont even know they are infected.
  This is becos it take a long time for an infected person to show symptons of HIV, it may take up to 10 years.
  So during this 10 years, the person appear to be perfectly normal..
  and he or she goes around having unprotected sex to infect others..
  This is why HIV is so widespread now...
