I'm going HK soon.... can anybody tell me what are the must see, must do, must try, must buy, must eat stuff there???
and how should i go about planning the trip?
Just pack your clothes. You must try roast pigion.
dun need to pack clothes la. shop there..haha
how many days are u going? If u are going for more than a wk perhaps u wan to drop by macau for 1 day also..quite fun.

streetside food, roasted pigeons,.....women's street for clothes.... learn a bit of cantonese.... enjoy the orignal wanton noodles there.

Try their portugese-chinese fusion cuisine. Varies daily. Heard there is this half-century old restaurant that specialises in this kind of food which is very cheap.

nvm.. HK ah.. depends lor. You want fun.. Disneyland. You like shopping.. alot of places. you like scenery, go places like Lantau Island etc..
Me going Macau soon also.. Venetian to look see what is the big deal about that place.

In Macau you can take a bus to watch the dog race *damn interesting*
Outside that place, got a few hawkers selling local delicacy which is cheap & nice

ok, all sounds good... it seems my friend has planned in most of the must-go places... hong kong is like her second homeland liddat lah.
but she been to disneyland twice le... says if i really wanna go she'll drop me off at the entrance and she'll shop around the area then pick me up when i'm done... but.. go disneyland alone is like.... really pathetic hor?

Why you going so many countries?
My sister visiting HK in september. Think she has done quite abit of research. But too bad she don't surf sgforums.
I use the itinerary planner in the Discover HK website to plan my HK trip a few years.
I find it quite informative and userful. I also download the maps from there to help me.
