I noticed that a few of these trains are refurbished according to multiples of 7... with the recent introduction of 125/126 into the refurbishment batch I'm really wondering if my hypothesis is really true...

But really... when people start questioning how they are refurbished in order mostly the answer is by age... then they start asking why newer trains get to go... I think *possibly* my hypothesis is behind it.

Hmmm... I think up to max 3 trains can be taken out of the service to undergo refurbishment in one month. -

It look like train actually is not being refurbished by number and age in sequence order. Any trainsets are randomly chosen to undergo refurbishment cos 125/126 is going to be undergoing refurbishment soon. -

Actually, 1 thing I don't like about 013/014 is that it vibrates a lot... quite uncomfortable. If you got a chance to take 013/014 go to Car 2013 and you'd know. -

Meh... I went to the National Library just now and on my way down SB on 071/072, I saw 217/218 preceeded by 023/024. When I was returning home, I took train 217/218 to Marina Bay so as to secure a seat... then it struck me 217/218 would be followed by 023/024 since the morning peak has ended and there would be no more trains returning to depot.

Boarded train 007/008 on EWL this morning (11 Oct). Saw that whenever the TO played the doors closing announcement, both sides of the red, blinking LED lights will start flashing at the same time instead of only the side in which doors are opened. This happened throughout the whole trip at every station.

Yes, 007/008 had this problem.
