I notice that the rooftops of some refurbished trains, especially 001/002 seem rather dirty. And 221/222 seemed to have some problem. I was on 221/222 train this afternoon. When the doors have been closed everytime, the train will take at least 5 seconds before the train will start moving off. It happens on SB except for Braddell MRT station when the doors are closed, then the train moved off immediately.
Maybe it's because 001/002 is the first train in Singapore since 1986 or 1987. Could be due to aging.

Trainset are manufactured and arrived in Singapore by car number in an order? Like 001/002 was first train to arrive in Singapore from Japan in 1987 after being manufactured? Same as for C651 (201/202) and C751B (311/312)?
But for CCL train, the first CCL trainset arrived in Singapore was 8031-8032-8033. Wondering why it was not being started off with 8001-8002-8003? -

Those train left I yet boarded is 007/008 and 087/088. I hope I will catch 007/008 one day.
I guess refurbished 077/078 will come out soon. -

Btw, spotted 031/032 on EWL today. I boarded it from City Hall. It has interior advertisement by Singapore Police Forces showing the public education on how to prevent yourself from becoming the victim of "magic stone".

So everything of the interior of 057/058 train is fully refurbished already? The glass for all doors and windows also are "new"? As I could tell that the sign board displaying "Don't put your hands on door" and "Mind the platform gap" are not put up yet. -

Driver's cabin also refurbished.
I still remember many students staring at the wooden tempo emergency door when 057/058 departed Bishan. -
Today was worse... there were 2 consecutive trains WITH THE SAME TRN again!
