the 2 station entrances at marymount station are undergoing electrical fittings, and architectural works are probably 80% done. reinstatement of the roadside kerb and drain covers are almost completed. a new overhead bridge linking the two sides of marymount road is also under construction, with the basic structure done.
Bishan Station's SB Platform has all it's PSDs up.
:)
While browsing MRT page on LTA website, I saw bunch of new pictures on Circle MRT Line being put up.
You can check this out at
For your viewing pleasure.
some of the pics are old and outdated but they just put it up for fun...
bishan station SB platform is undergoing architectural works. concrete structure of benches are ready, and escalators are undergoing electrical fittings. 2nd entrance of bishan station at bus interchange has the basic concrete structure ready, with what looks like radiators to get fresh air into the station located on the top of the structure of the entrance.

The current exit gates have all been shifted. xD
good to hear... but since when was there an underground connection??? can the station be accessed from this underpass?Underpass linking City Hall MRT to Suntec City Mall opens to public
30 Apr 08
SINGAPORE: An underground public walkway connecting One Raffles Link to Suntec City Mall is now open once again.
And from now till 4 May, Suntec City Mall is giving away free coffee, chocolates and sweets to pedestrians to mark the reopening of the underpass.
The public can also look forward to music and line dancing performances every weekend in the month of May.
The underpass, which is part of the CityLink Mall, had been closed since 2003 to facilitate the construction of the Circle Line MRT system. During that period, pedestrians used a temporary overhead bridge to get to the Suntec City Mall and the Convention Centre.
Come 2010, the underpass will also serve commuters using the Esplanade MRT station, which is situated along the Circle Line. - CNA/vm

yeah. that underground connection used to be directly under the traffic junction. got exit to the war memorial park also.
so the overhead bridge gone already?
sorry me kuku long time never go town...
I will check out new Suntec underpass when I have time to visit Suntec one day. Maybe will take photo if I can. ;)

Until now, this bridge is still there and is accessible by public as I think... I just passed by Suntec while I was in bus today.
The bridge between One Raffles Link and Suntec City will be closed to public on 12 May as effective. I went to Suntec just now and saw the notice signboard at the entrance of bridge. So the brigde will be dismantled after 12 May.
And I went into Suntec Underpass. The esclators that led to Esplanade CCL station was blocked by a temporary white wall. Although you can see down, everything at downstairs is so dark.
Mountbatten CCL station is almost done with roof concrete being completed filling up. Meanwhile, the construction for the entrance/exit box to Mountbatten MRT station has just began.
Having they started tunnelling for phase 4 and 5? Observed little disruptions have indeed taken place in Holland Village.
Compared to East West line construction in the 80s, the CIRCLE LINE MRT construction was pretty quiet.
Any further details on each station? How many floors, shops, entrances especially to Holland Village station?
the 2 entrances at Marymount station have had the scaffolding removed. installation of glass panels is under way, and they look close to completion. the overhead bridge in the middle of Marymount road is structurally done with the roof fully covered. cladding works for the vent allowing fresh air into the station is also almost done.
Paya Lebar CCL station box is completed. Now the construction of entrance/exit box and linkway between CCL and EWL currently is in progress. Once the linkway between EWL and CCL is completed, the road will eventually be restored back to their original position. But they are pretty faster than Mountbatten CCL station on Stage 2.
Mountbatten CCL station construction seemed to be progressing at quite slow pace. The top roof covering up is about 95% done.
And MacPherson MRT station box is completed. The construction of entrance/exit box will be completed, following by fittings in two or more months' times.
Bishan, Bartley, Lor Chuan and Serangoon CCL station follow the similar suit at MacPherson CCL station in terms of construction progress pace, meaning that their station box is already completed and their entrance/exit box will be completed being building and fitting in few months' times.
For Nicoll Highway CCL station, the construction seemed to be progressing very slow as I think the constructor is still building the station box. I really need to check out the progress there one day.
anybody got info on the progress of Dakota station?

Although I was passing by Mountbatten CCL station on alternate weekends to visit Old Airport Road estate, I will check out on Dakota station.
Maybe I have to take lift at Old Airport Road flat (Blk 95 or 96) to see the construction site since the road was closed and diverted into Guilimard Road.
I will update here when I have the information on this.
side-track abit to stage 3...
does anyone reckon that the new SB platform at BSH would open before the CCL opening?
or would it open along with it???

Most probably open along. Don't forget after completing the SB platform they also need to build the CCL platforms.
Though the SB platform is mostly completed, like 95%? But they haven't installed A/C and do final touchups.
