I like the Paya Lebar Station because of the middle platform.

Between Marymount & Paya Lebar

Non-Peak Hour: Up to 7mins per train
Between Paya Lebar & Dhoby Ghaut
Peak Hour: Up to 7mins per train
Non-Peak Hour: Up to 7mins per trainWhich means some train bound for city will terminate at Paya Leyba during peak hour. Below shows an example on how it will be implemented.

Dhoby Ghaut 3mins
Paya Lebar 7mins

marrymount-paya lebar service ?
interesting... as i have expected. firstly, i thought is dhoby ghaut-Paya lebar
then when i think back, the demand when people transfer CCL-EWL is higher than going to CBD (CCL)-EWL

The wall is for the future DTL platform (similar to CTH)
middle platform is for maintanance only lah.. i got spoke with a man at Paya Lebar just now..

Actually it's for CCL Extension to Bayfront and Marina Bay. DTL may be a seperate station.

watch this video and you will know =)
I believe that the 2 hoardings at the side of promenade station is for the CCLe instead of the DTL1. And the DTL1 would have a seperate platform via transfer level at the concourse.
if you look closely when departing promenade towards dbg, there is a track that leads to the other way which i believe is for the CCLe.
when approaching promenade station towards tai seng, u can also see a track which leads to the platform.
at the very end of the station where the emergency door is located, u can see the dark tunnel outside the window.

Went for open house today but had very little time to explore. Thanks for the vid! I didnt notice the branch to the left side as I was intrigued by what went on on the right...
Same direction as the vid I was travelling from ESP to Promenade. I noticed when the train was going very slowly, there was a track that branched RIGHT into a dead end and after awhile, another dead end would branch back to the line... Did anyone notice? I have a feeling this one is for DTL (possible crossover) and the closed platform is CCLe.
From the vid I can't see where it branches out but at 2:25 can see one track branch back in.
Opinions?

posible could be Circle Line extension (marina Bay) from right
but from left could be Downtown or CCLe
I saw it but i think that there is still no track yet, And the wall i knock is actually temporary wall.

Yah. The more i look at it, the more it look like Raffles Place/City Hall. Can see by the light, speaker and signboard arrangement and also the Dhoby Ghaut platform quite small, dont you think so?

yeap.. look like City hall for me.. hehe
This is what I drew for Promendae issue:
It cant be DTL, becoz of the diagram above. I even suspect, there is no chance to use the dotted black line, due to a change to inital plan since it requires a modification to the existing tracks. Or, there might be a chance, the dead end, will to connect to CCL Extension, as an off service / direct route from Marymount / Harbourfront (Via Bishan), and connect it with another rail that is splitted into 2 such as this:

No offense but i think your first diagram is wrong... even though its a dead end now it will not be a dead end eventually cos before that there was a branch out to the dead end before the dead end joins back. They don't do this stuff for nothing!

No offense . First Diagram is only focused on the current one. And there is a remark "CCLE on 2012?" is meant to speculate it without details. That image was used and created to let people in BVE forum to create CCL, which right now do not need any speculation details.

i think the dead end is for CCL stage 5 in the future, where the circle line will complete its full circle from promenade to harbourfront
then, the tracks (black dotted line) i think is like changi airport shuttle (promenade to dhoby ghaut)
well, thats what i think. i may be wrong

oops didnt read properly.
stage 5? u mean from marina bay to HBF? what diff does it make even if it completes the circle or not? It still branches out to Bayfront right?

No, black dotted cant be Promenade to Dhoby Ghaut given that considerations must be made to existing Harbourfront Via Bishan / Marymount will then how? Since, given that between Nicoll Highway to Promendae does not have any crossovers / or provisions for that (A weird shaped tunnel, where one of the side is getting wider or such).
But I believe, if Bayfront is NOT a stack, then there is a great chance that daily first train from Promendae to Marina Bay is using the current platform (Towards DBG), go straight instead of right towards Bayfront & Marina Bay. Then, it returns to Promendae like my second diagram, and use a new, opposite of current platform. BUT the issue is, there does not seemed to have provisions for that :( , so it might jolly well as a wasted platform.
My personal view is that, since between Marina Bay - Harbourfront Via Bishan is not feasible due to amount of C830s, and the track diagram does not allow trains from Dakota to Paya Lebar using Middle Platform (Only from MacPherson, too bad), and using Promendae as terminus of the Marina Bay Extension may not be the choice, due to the need to replace the existing tracks to "slanted X shaped crossover", where the age of changing the tracks, is simply too new to do so, I think the authority may choose to ply trains between Marina Bay - Mountbatten, and when the train leaves Stadium, it uses the middle track towards Mountbatten, and terminates the train at Mountbatten Dhoby Ghaut bound. Of course, they may do a "sliding method" like present LTE, such that they get everyone alight at Stadium, terminates the train in the middle track, and resume service on Stadium towards Marina Bay.
In Summary, the feasible options on top of Dhoby Ghaut - Harbourfront Via Bishan Full train are:
1: Promendae - Marina Bay shuttle train
2: Marina Bay - Harbourfront full train
3: Marina Bay - Stadium / Mountbatten (BTW, the last train from Marymount terminates at Mountbatten)

Why draw all over again when someone else has done it for you!

CCLe and DTL tunnels run parallel under the river and are already completed! (DTL1 newsletter/no. 10) The diagram in the newsletter is specific; CCLe left and DTL1 on the right.
You might think it does not make sense for Circle Line (Marina branch)
and Downtown Line to run parallel. But during planning, they would have considered
(1) saving the pain of passengers having to change around again at Promendae since both lines are heading to different ends of the island OR/AND
(2) do a Raffles Place style track swtiching, since Bayfront would be the middle of the Downtown Line (if you take Stage 3 into consideration).
