isn't BKB CCL4 since this thread is abt CCL 1 and 2? and btw why you you be interested in a shell station?
Wow they finally reflected Woodleigh on the NEL on the map and pasted a "Not in service" sticker over it rather than not printing it at all. That probably means LTA/SBS Transit has an idea roughly when to open it, although obviously perhaps not anytime soon. That's a start.

Probably wants to explore? Whats a shell station anyway? Is it same as Woodlegih / Buangkok?

No I dont. The SCEP only did Stage 1 stations. Have a video, will upload soon.

Yes, its something about the same. Exact meaning is a station that is built but will not be opened once ready. (due to the lack of developments in the area)
BKB actually from other forum saw ppl explore before liao... Its not bad, but weird looking. Like an MRT stn in the middle of bushes and tress. Easy to go in. Along Thomson Road at PIE there, one small slip road where they put up a CCL U/C signboard...

I see. But I wonder there was an article stating that from then on, there will not be a future stations that are built and not open (Meaning only 3 MRT stations in history are closed when the line is ready -- Bukit Brown, Woodleigh and Buangkok).
So why do they choose this approach from DTL onwards (DT4 is skipped, and in Chinese Wikipedia seemed to hint that a station Hume Avenue would be DT4 and there is a DT21a station in DTL Stage 3 leaked schematic diagram)?
Anyway, it is also weird for NEL not to built a shell station for NE2 since like that will be the same for number of CCL shell stations (Thomson -- The then Cadelott and West Coast -- The then Haw Par Villa station are also meant to be shell station).

Take the bus to the Mediacorp Caldecott Building and walk in from there. The station's location is very ulu though
I don't know if this is the right place, but Holland Village station has entrances on Holland Avenue about halfway finished.
CCL got new annoucement 'Please do not lean against train doors.'

"SBS Transit has indicated that the station will open when the Stamford American International School opens in August 2011"

The exact location of NE2 has not been finalised, how to build the shell station?

Just my guess, the NE2 station will be somewhere at Raeburn Park, not Kampong Bahru.

No MRT station? Isn't Tanjong Pagar station in his area?
Also, his area part of it doesn't belong to Singapore. (Tanjong Pagar Railway Station).

From another forum, they have already jumped to conclusions that it will be at the current KTM tracks (NE2) And reason why no shell station is built is because the tracks are stil there lol. About the DT4 and DT21a (wdv), no shell station is built because they are unsure of developments that will be there, so they cant built as of yet.

According to the tender document, there is an option to build a cut and cover box at station DT4.
