Probably due to a full ad it had before..

1) Train speed in ATO mode between Aljunied and Paya Lebar is 61 km/h

3) Reduced speed to enter stations with uncompleted PSDs is 40 km/h
Actually, you don't need to peek to know...
Reason for number 1, switch after Aljunied towards Paya Lebar. Most 'older' switches have crossing MSS/TS of 62/61 km/h. What is considered new switch? The one before Kranji is one.
Reason for number 2, MSS/TS 78/77 km/h, standard on long distance.
Number 3, SOP.

Yeah, the "oldest" (I mean rustiest) switch I ever seen is Tanah Merah switch. The one towards Bedok where the middle track ends and split to the 2 main lines? Yeah that switch is pretty rusty...

Not really for the C151 and C751B...I just stood at the platform and pretended to sms while the train drove off and in doing that managed to capture the view.
But for the C651, its a different matter. I had to peek through a small loose hole in the driver's cabin door vent as casual a manner as possible to view the speed. From what I saw, a C651 can hit 80 kmh at the max, not the MSS/TSS of 78/77 km/h. And its cruise settings apart from its top speed are 60 kmh and 70 kmh. 70kmh even from JUR to BBT.
The reason I do this is because I wish to employ these tactics onto BVE when driving :)

We are now creating plugins for the ATO system for the openBVE trains. You need not really need to drive it in Manual in future.
uh... we can discuss that in the BVE Forum...

oo i see
Did you know.... the TO cabin has a LCD screen that uses the station CCTVs to monitor if any passengers are "kiapped" or used to wait until all passengers had boarded the train and close it.
(Like that time, i got stuck at the last 2 doors because they didn't move in, i ran to the 22nd door and the TO close the doors right behind me lol

It have this happened before. Doors closed then open when the other passenger(s) running towards the door.
Anyway for the new fans, guess who I am? :)

Why you suddenly use back this account?
Did you know that some signals turn white (those after the stations) only when the train has set the route, in the station?

By the way, do you know of any other older switches? cos i know the ones between Jurong East and Clementi are those that trains can pass them at relatively high speeds of 70 to 78 km/h. Also, there is a source elsewhere on another website which mentions that the two switches (EB > NB, SB > WB) after Raffles Place are high-speed turnouts.
that the onboard annoucement for no eating or drinking have changed ?
It goes like this:
"No eating or drinking is allowed in stations and/or trains"
the voice is different. spotted this when i board 013/014 just now

'No eating or drinking is allowed in stations or on trains.'
Quite a few trains have it already. It's still by CHY though.

But I feel weird.. CHY really announce changed? The sound very similar with the NEL announcer... (Same with the New Please do not lean on the train door announcement)
I think I hear 'No eating or drinking is allowed in stations or on/our trains'...

How similar can they be? They are totally different and this is obviously CHY.

No. Let's compare the old E.N.D announcement and New one. She announced a bit fast & similar with NEL one.

NEL annoucer is Indian and CHY is chinese. There will confirm be a distint difference. (Not racist here)

NEL announcer's pronounciation of "gap" sucks. CHY... someone just fire her, please.
