dude, Bras Basah and dhoby Ghaut is near so is a minute train ride..
the list is a extimation time..

example..
in the list: betwenn Bras Basah and Dhoby Ghaut says 2 min
but you take train and is a minute train ride.. and if the train go slow should be 2 mins lor =)

They need to count the time with the departure time

Travel :1 minute

Depart :1 minute

Total: 2 minutes

Mandated by LTA/trainworthiness directive? SBS Transit also have, then somebody complained to the press. Now they replace the announcement with pasting visual warnings on the train doors itself.

I got a video that is dam exclusive. When train approaching Stadium: 'Ding dong, Stadium'.............'Ding dong, eating and drinking is not allow iin station and train. eating and drinking is not allow in station and train'.
