. This toilet forum is to set up to talk on toilets issues as you can see all the topic post here are related to toilets and not off topic. Toilets is also part of our daily lives which we uses it everyday and can discuss about. I also do not want to increase my post count for now even though last time I was like that. I welcome your suggestion and hope you can post it again on your views on this forum or toilets. Others are also welcomed

we have toilets almost everywhere. and on almost every floor.
it is very different in hong kong. the toilets are all locked up. you need to get keys from the shops in shopping malls. i find it so inconvenient. and toilets are very limited in hong kong.
i wonder how the ladies cope. we have lots of toilets and the gals are already queuing up to use them. -

i once went to a small town in china, and when i ask for toilet in that small restaurant, that guy tell me "go out from the main exit, turn right and go inside the back alley, u can see a bucket there". But in big cities, most of the shopping center and restaurant have decent toilets. -
in less developed areas of Peninsula Malaysia:
the squat pan do not have a pond of water inside and without any flush cistern like in Singapore. I can only see a small hole filled with a little water inside the squat pan. thats all...i guess you have to use a pail of water for flushing.
In Korea :
The squat pan is rather special. the flush water lever is located on the floor and is located right in front of the toilet cubicle door hence user can use their legs to activate the flush by stepping on it. -

Japan toilets r clean and nice.

the auto-tap in japan will continue to flow as long as your palms are near the sensor. singapore one sucks...u need to remove your palm and then put back again to get that pathetic flow of water. u need to do that 3 times to really rinse the handsoap away

Yeah I agree with you too. When I use the auto tap I must put in and out my hands for so many times for the water to come out as it had stopped. So torublesome but it is better to have it than not having itOriginally posted by NT2:the auto in japan n in singapore r different.

If not wrong, during the mid 1990s my family went to Beijing before migrating to Singapore, and when we were at the Tian-an-men Square, there parked a mobile (but old-looking) toilet, and I saw many people using it.........
Worse, there are no doors covering up the cubicles, and that the waste matters were not flushed at all.........they were simply resting at where they were......very smelly and very unhygenic.........and that typically the so-so "martons" were full of un-flushed shit!
But nowadays it seemed that to cope with the 2008 Beijing Olympics, the mobile toilet was removed........not seen anymore. -
Also, there is a toilet in Hong Kong which is very pervertic......cos it is used by many perverts mainly males who wanted to be females...............
Well it was a government-ran toilet located near Wan Chai's pub areas.
In that same toilet, it was heard (from the Orisun.com news website) that one night there was a man dressed as female and went into a female toilet, only to lock himself up in the cubicle, and then use a pair of scissors trying to cut the "stem" off.........until a female cleaner came.......
By then she was scared and his stem was injured, being sent to hospital, while she resigned as a cleaner.
This incident happened on one night in this year (I have forgotten at exactly when).

was in... where was it? Ah yes amsterdam. entire shopping center, 1 toilet for each gender. amazing. and the lock them up at 6pm
was in the toilet in Renault F1's showcase shop along Champ de Elysee, Paris. Whoa. space age!
