Is Huang Feihong a real martial art expert?

  Bruce Lee and Hou Yuanjia are real martial art experts who defeated many top martial art expert from the west and they set up their own martial art schools too.

   

  Yip Man is also a real martial art expert who taught many experts such as Bruce Lee.

   

  But Huang Feihong seems to be a fake martial art expert. He did not fight against other martial arts experts neither did he set up martial arts schools.

   

  The only story is that he once use his bare ahnds to defeat 30 people all armed with weapons but even this also don't know whether is it a exagerated story anot.

   

  So is Huang Feihong a real martial art expert or is he just a doctor? He seems to be just a doctor..

  what about Jet Lee? he was the 5 times winner of all china champion in wushu.

  I once read that he is just a doctor who knew martial arts. He didn't really be a real hero like in the movies, but just do what he can with his medical skills while teach students hung gar. I also once heard that when he is younger, he is indeed fighting like a hero until his son died, then he quiet down and don't like to do anything. Those are just records, true or not, not sure.

  Hey Keeptouch, No offense or anything but did you do your research on him correctly? Cause if you found out he is a famous doctor you should have also seen the parts where he train in Kung Fu right?

  But one thing that is like puzzling me is that if you actually did your research and ask this question is.. Are you stupid? Because if you were just questioning his prowess in Martial Arts I wouldn't say anything..

  Now you are actually asking if he knows martial arts. Well if he didn't why would he be called the 'Tiger after the Ten'?

  I understand where you might be coming from but you are actually asking if he can even fight?? Because if you have noticed your page wherever you are searching, they would have stated he had trained under the forms of more or less all of the 'Ten Tigers' 

  But in your case there are only two possibilties, 1) the page is wrong or 2) you went to the wrong place. If its Wikipedia.. You will obviously not ask a question like this.

  Anyway, wikipedia states that Huang Feihong is a grandmaster but seems that he does not have much martial art achievement to speak off..

  Must fight and win other people or get awards to be considered expert meh?

  The ultimate martial art skill is knowing how to avoid a fight, getting out of situations without seeing blood.
