I can think of 1)Increasing the height of the stand holding the ball 2) Use a heavier ball.Doing all these will increase the gravitational potential energy which will push the wooden disc higher.
How about moving the fulcrum nearer to the wooden disc?Does it helps.Please help to explain.

An easier method without changing anything is to move the fulcrum. Move it closer to the metal stand so that the dist between the fulcrun and the effort is less than the dist between the fulcrun and the load. This will increase the amount of force on the load with equal effort use if i didn't remember it wrongly.
