  Just want to gain some opinions on virtual classroom learning. Do students find virtual classroom learning useful? Anyone has signed up for some virtual classroom learning courses?

  Recently stumbled upon a virtual classroom learning website wiziq.com? Anyone has used this site before?

  Hi,

    Personally, I feel that teaching is a human endeavour and learning is very much enriched when there is human interaction (between teacher and students and between students).

    Virtual learning allows for self-paced learning though it takes a lot of self-discipline and self-reflection in this mode of learning.

  Virtual classroom learning is what many students will wish for, as students can study in their briefs for anyone care at home.

  But seriously speaking, it is a bad idea. Many students nowadays seem to be unable to focus on their work and studies, and to implement such as a system widely will only serve to augment such problems.

  Many students knew this themselves, hence they rather travel out and study in groups at places ranging from libraries to tuition centers, than to stay at home and face the desktop.

  i think some of these virtual classroom incorporate video cconferencing so there is some interaction between the teacher and the student ..but i suppose the interaction is different compared to real life
