  The mass of the car is 1200kg. Find the resultant on the car as it travels between 0 m/s and 30 m/s in 9 seconds

  Is it

  F = ma

  F = 1200 x 30

     = 36000N ?

  nope.

  a = (30-0)/9

  so F=1200 x 30/9
