How do I use DVcams to create stop motion animation?

  I read that it is possible to use video cameras to make stop motion animation, anyone here tried it before? Can give advice?

  .. process carries on till where u wan 2 stop

  I know how to do it using digital cameras or DSLR cameras, but I never see anyone using camcorders or something, so I wonder anyone here can share tips on how to do it.
