Hi guys !
its me. yea once again.
would like to ask on tips on how to effectively revise for SS/Lit ? since i have spare time during hols !
also would like tips on how 2 tackle source based -qn ? . thats my weak spot x.x
IMO, SBQ for SS is rather.. dead. I mean seriously, it's either you catch it or not. What you can do is to go through some online cartoon drawings about politics and see if you can catch their brillance in conveying what they are really trying to say. You can always post some of the pictures here and seek opinions from forumers.
Can't help you much on the literature part but i can give you some tips on the ss component (since i'm ss/hist combi). SBQ only require your skills, on whether you get it correct or not, that ultimately rests on your interpretation. I'm sure you have mastered the skills of presenting your answers by now yea? Most importantly always answer to the question.
Eg. Do you believe that the source...?
Even though you know it's a reliability question, please DO NOT write "this source is reliable in that..." Definite wrong answer. Instead do only write "I can believe/cannot believe this source in...."
Ah yes, my teacher says there's a trend that express students tend to do well in SEQ than SBQ because they study for the essay-writing component. On the other hand, NA students tend to score well for SBQ part because they "don't think too much as Express students do".
Whatever the case, master the skills and explain logically. My SBQ can be fairly good at times but there sure are times when I misinterpret the source.
haha, everytime is essay pull me up de x)
