If u dun wan to revise ur work, what do u wan to do? Are u confident of doing well for ur O's and be able to get into the JC/poly of your choice?

Do a slow revision now. Its easier for u when u do ur final revision when u have a revision now cos its fresher in ur head and that makes it easier to remember compard to 1 shot trying to remember all the content since sec 3.
Maths is alot of practice which u can start now since the more u do, the better u become at it.
are you stressed about the prospects of sitting for the exams?

hmm.... when exams somewhat near ? but definately not now... somehow... ?
dkcx . when u say slow revision, lets assume i revise physics tmr. so i wait until prelim. eg day 51 from now then read again, 40 day gap.. how rmb?
when u say slow revision, what exactly do you mean? cause personally i prefer to one shot do 1subject de?
yes i acknowledge the fact that maths is about practise...!

If u start revising everything from sec 3 now, it would be fresher in ur memory when u revise it again in Sept/Oct for ur exams.
Example u study now, when u study again the next time for ur exams, u can maybe just see the topic and ask urself what u know about it, jot them down then compare again with ur notes and further correct anything that u remembered or understand wrongly. This is better than starting to memorise everything from scratch.
The purpose is not really to do pure memory work but more understanding as well since understanding helps u recall the facts. Don't just blinding memorise everything into ur brain and end up forgetting it directly after the exams since thats not the purpose of learning.
Revising early also gives u time to find out the areas u are unsure of so that u can get them clarified early rather than last min before exams.
hi thanks for ur reply !!
so u suggesting i 're-cre8' a new notebook from wht i ahve read ?
does being able to rewrite/ rephrase what u read in the book = understanding ?
isnt that = memo cause u aactually memorise what is being written there... wad the point again i say ? X.X
side now: what if u still have a mental note of whats being taught ? like u know how 2 apply..... / haven revise since may thou..?
yes please tell me a lost guy. haha !

Either make ur own notes or mindmaps whichever u feel helps u study better since producing either will require u to think about the content.
U are free to rephrase things in ur own words since that would be eaiser for u to remember compared to a textbook answer but make sure the essential keywords are in it and ur rephrase version is still correct.
When u can write something out in ur own words, it requires understanding before it can be done so it will be different from pure direct memory work. Personally there is no exams that i ever give a textbook answer since i totally suck at remembering word for word. My answers are always what i understand about the point base on what i read from the text.
Its common to still have a rough idea of the contents and that the purpose of revising early. So that ur brain still has impression of the contents of the course. This makes it easier to recall and remember more things as u restudy again since some of the facts are already in ur brain and studying it again further reinforce that knowledge.
maybe should start soon ba...

Just do ur best. Its going to be a tough few months but u will get a decently long break after that for u to relax and enjoy all u like before u start JC or poly.
Keep yourself motivated and always have ur target/aim in sight so u do not loss focus.

Why not juz continue here?
H2 maths would serve u better than H1 maths since u need maths for most degrees esp those on the science and engineering side, u cannot avoid maths when doing those.

dun stress urself as i said in the pm. go step by step now. Ur 1st target now is to clear ur O's and do as well as u can
Yea.... it's ok to take short breaks in between your revision. Just keep the momentum going.
Better revise now.
It's the difference between getting 20 marks without revision or 25 marks with revision for the O levels.

Keep practising until once you see the qn, you will know of what approach to use straightaway.
