Whether or not exposure to media violence causes increased levels of aggression and violence in young people is the perennial question of media effects research. Research were done and found that exposure to media violence causes children to behave more aggressively and affects them as adults years later. However, some researchers said that the scientific evidence simply does not show that watching violence either produces violence in people, or desensitizes them to it.
So, does the media have a great impact on youth violence?
Not enough violence to show the world that violence is never the correct solution.

Wouldn't the parents play a far bigger role in controlling youth violence?

Once the boys are serving NS, violence is instilled in them by the training.

It's kinda hilarious that we're being taught how to kill before we learnt how to vote.

Wat u said, I read before in the newspaper. There was talk about bringing the voting age down.
Anyway, I dont think media has anything to do wif teen violence. I play M rated console games, watch movies like The Passion of the Christ and Blood Diamond, curse and swear lik hell, and I'm still a sweet person...
