Apart from the standard L1R5 below 20. Are there any other requirements such as the subject I'm currently taking?
The subjects I'm currently taking is:
English, Mother Tongue, E Maths, Combined Humanities, Combined Science, Principles of Accounts and D&T.
Is there any chance to qualify for a JC? If so, what are the likely subjects that I'll be taking?
depends on what u want to get in JC and what u want to study at JC. after JC, what do you want to study in Uni?
ask yourself these questions first.

Your subjects choices in JC will be abit limied as subjects like H2 maths etc won't be available to u but you can still enter JC but mostly doing arts and not science since you don't even have any pure science for O's

yup, you can make it to JC, as long as you have ur L1R5 well under 20.
to be realistic, you probably need to score under 12 points to get into a decent JC.
and unfortunately, you will not be allowed to study science stream. Science stream requires O level background of pure sciences, namely, chemistry, physics and math.
A math is required for H2 math in JC.
therefore, you will most likely end up doing arts in JC.
and remember, don't go JC just simply for the sake of going to JC. think about the big picture. Do you plan to go uni? and what courses do you intend to pursue in uni?
forcing yourself to do arts to go JC, will be sort of lame, since arts student are consigned to courses like law, biz, mass comm and the humanities. Sci, engineering and medicine are definitely out of the qsn for JC arts student.
and also bear in mind that as a JC student, if you fail to get into university, an A level cert has a market value roughly on par with an O level cert. which equates to a waste of 2 yrs.
imo, it would be better for you to go the poly route if u intend to pursue sci-related fields in the future.

I don't think so. Heard it was removed a long time ago but i'm a poly student not JC so i'm not that sure about this.

It will be easier for us to tell you what subjects you will likely be taking if you give us roughly the grades you are getting now and what combination of combined science and humanities you are currently taking.
Just to let you know, YJC allows students with A1/2 in E. Maths and combined science to take H2 Maths.
get the best marks avaliable.
do ur best.
not aiming for those target.
score as high as you can!
srsly, given your subject combi
i strongly recommand you to go to a poly unless your l1r5 raw is <10
