need help in solving this:
Prove that sec x + tan x + cot x = (1 + sin x) / cos x sin x
pls help. thanks.

sec x + tan x + cot x
= 1/cosx + sinx/cosx + cosx/sinx
= sinx/sinxcosx + sin^2x/sinxcosx + cos^2x/sinxcosx
= sinx + ( sin^2x + cos^2x ) / sinxcosx
= 1 + sinx / sinx cosx
how about the other way round?

(1 + sin x) / cos x sin x
= sin^2x + cos^2x + sinx / cosxsinx
= sin^2x/cosxsinx + cos^2x/cosxsinx + sinx/cosxsinx
= sinx/cosx + cosx/sinx + 1/cosx
= tanx + cotx + secx
