Which salts are soluble in water?
I've only heard that
Salts are soluble? Is it true? what about Nitrates?

All nitrates and all salts of alkaline metals are soluble. The rest will depends. In O's you all should have a solubility table which is all you will need to know. For the rest, just wiki.
solvency depends on the solvent(water is highly ionic) and salt(how polarising is it). Nitrate salts can be solvent up to a certain degree.

At his level, he doesn't need to consider that much la. Degree of solubility is different for every compound and no one will bother going to memorise or know all of them.
Hi,
O level chemistry rarely touch on the temperatures aspects of the salts' solubility. Yep, refer to the solubility table.
