For local universities, admission to them varies from course to course.
Some courses require you to have 4As for "A"-lvl or 3.9+ for poly GPA, whereas others might only require 2B and 2C for "A"-lvl or 3.5+ for GPA.
Of course the better the results, the higher your chance of getting a place in the local unis, though it will also depends on the number of people applying for the same course and their own results.
For example, you might be able to get a place in one of the courses offered in uni with a result of BCCC in a certain year as there are only 150 people with better results than you applying for the same course that year, but if there are 500 people with better results than you applying the next year, you probably will not have been able to get the place if you have applied the next year instead.
