it's 3 months away from my 'O' paper, i find that i cannot really concentrate on my revision at home due to the distractions like TV, computer, food ( hah! ) etc. anyone can recommend any place which is suitable for studying?
If you got the heart to study, no amount of distraction can ever distract you.
see if your nearest cc got those study rooms.

You can try staying back and studying in school using your school's empty classrooms.
This way, you could also ask your friends and/or classmates when you have questions and problems.

Well, a lot also depends on who you are studying with.
There is no point in studying with those who are just there to chat and waste time, or studying with those who are unwilling to help you out when you have difficulties.

That will depend a lot on each individual.
Some people are what we known as "geniuses", and they are indeed better off studying by themselves without anyone to disturb them, whereas others who might need help would be better off studying in 3~4 people study groups.
my house.
jkjk
my house too~ i can teach u if u gort qns
This is very common as occurred to me as well, many distractions at home, like PC, surf web, watch tv, lay on bed, etc.
For Os, I went to AMK void deck to study, 10pm-4am cuz quieter.
Other suggestions:
1. Study in school till school closes, find quiet table or classroom or even in canteen tables, or in school library. I did this with my friends in AJC, where we studied for As, from 11am to 7pm, where sometimes we will go AMK for dinner from 4pm-5pm, then come back to do 10yrs series etc.
2. Study in national/community libraries, find somewhere close to your home, BUT must go there very early, about 10am, so that you can find tables/seats for your studying. When tired, can walk around and see newspapers or surf web, there the conducive environment, when you see people study, you will also study.
3. Study in Mac, KFC, community centre study rooms, void decks etc. For CC study room, you can pay a small fee as member so that you always can get in and have seat, there got abit of aircon and must be quiet due to rules, better than fastfood restaurants or void decks where sometimes there could be noise. Study rooms in CC I think closes as 11pm, so if you go there at 12pm study till 11pm, minus meal times etc, you can gain 8 hours of good study. But membership may be full already, have to check.
