It can be.
The hard part is that once you get use to a type of handwriting, it is hard to change to another type of handwriting.

then it should be easy. it's like how you first learn to write - printing each letter. cursive is bit more difficult to master. -

summary of all posts: practicewhy not start from scratch e.g practice by copying a text or few paragraphs from the newspaper/mag everyday.
unfortunately there's really no magic potion other than this.

That means you are not planning well for the time allocated to each part of your essay preparation and the essay itself.
You are always in a rush due to a lack of time, and that explains your handwriting for essays.
The 1st thing you should do is to write more essays in your spare time so as to build up a rough idea of how much time you would need for your mindmap, your introduction, your ending...etc.

i suggest u write more composition or perhaps learn to write slower.. its like a habit that u develope.. everyday can be changed
people read books everyday, u just have to pick up a pen and start writing.. thats how i manage to learn left-right hand writing :)
