  Is it a must to include a science or can it be replaced with A and E maths? E.g. can this be used?

  Eng,E math,A math, MT, Elective+SS, Full Humanities

  My main source on the L1R5 information is from my sister.

  However, my sister took her O' Levels 6 years ago.. So I'm am 99% positive that the system has changed.

  While waiting for someone to answer TS question, I would also like to ask.

  I have heard that now for the Arts Stream in JCs, the requirement can also be

  1 Language

  1 Maths

  2 Arts/Humanities Subects (instead of 1 Arts/Humanities subject and 1 Science subject)

  2 Best subjects

  Is that true?

  L1R5: L1 = Language, either English (regardless of pass or fail) OR Higher Mother Tongue + English Pass

  R5: R1 = Humanities OR Combined Humanities

  R4: Maths, Sciences and/or Normal Mother Tongue in any combination

  Eng,E math,A math, MT, Elective+SS, Full Humanities

  No. I'm quite sure, but I am not a Double Humanities student myself, so please pardon any mistakes.

   

  I'm not sure about the Arts Stream.

  1. English
  2. Mathematics
  3. Science
  4.  Humanities
  5.  Any other O Level subject
  6.  Any other O Level subject

   

  Admission to Polytechnics (L1R2B2)
  L1: English Language

  1st Group of Relevant Subjects (R1): Maths or A Maths
   
  2nd Group of Relevant Subjects (R2) 
  (at least C6 for relevant subjects):
  
  Architectural Technology
  Science subjects, Art, D & T
  
  Business-Related Courses
  Humanities subjects, POA
  
  Science-Based Courses
  Science subjects, F & N
        
  Technology Courses
  Science subjects, D & T

  Best 2 Subjects (B2):   Best 2 other subjects
