Retaking gce A levels

  Hi, im intending to retake my gce A level from 2008 last year which the results didnt got me into local Unis...may i ask what are the minimum subjects i have to retake ? will retaking GP and 3 H2s be sufficient ? Or must i throw in a H1 ? i did ok for my GP H1 and 1 H2 , could any be used ? And also if i take a science subject like physics for private, how do i go about with the SPA ? bring over or re do a new one ? Thanks !

  why dun u study at SIM or UniSIM?

  You will be using your 2008 SPA results (valid for a year). After 2009 (eg. 2010), if you take private 'A' levels, you have to sit for a pratical exam in lieu of SPA.

  If you ask me, I will say that the truth is that local uni degrees are more recognised than SIM / UniSIM degrees. Besides that, I am not going to say anything else...

  of course lar, who dun want to enter the 3 local uni here. but for those who cant qualify, either they go overseas or study at SIM/UniSIM or distance learning degree lor.

   

  I heard my friend said that if you can afford to pay 300,000 a year, you can study at harvard. wonder how true is that.
