that was what my friend told me. i am screwed
han chiang, dun worry. Cambridge markers are not as 'niao' as Singaporean markers. they are much more lenient in their marking. put focus in your e maths paper tomoro instead!
the summary is surprising hard for me
Examples are prevalent in the passage
Every time my summary get 18-21 marks, once get content 15m and once get OW 10m, but this passage still stunned me
But it is safe to write 400 or above words in compo in case any mistakes or 'hua she tian zhu' which is irrelevant to the topic given.

thats what i feel. I gave a brief example on ancient greek and egyptian too
yes, this is needed
To those who wish to calculate their score (not taking into consideration the bell curve)
Most of my friends don't know how to calculate properly, so I guess I'll just post it here.
1) (Assumed composition mark / 30) x 20%
plus
2) (Assumed situational mark / 30) x 20%
plus
3) (Assumed oral mark / 40) x 20%
plus
4) (Assumed summary mark / 25) x 20%
plus
5) (Assumed comprehension mark / 25) x20%
Yup. Thats that.
For example... here's my prediction.
(23/30) x 20%
+
(24/30) x 20%
+
(37/40) x 20%
+
(18/25) x 20%
+
(16/25) x 20%
= 77.7%

merely predict future events
resulting dreams would be scrutinised by a priest as a guide to diagnosis and healing
promote emotional health by adopting a pro-active response
working on fears in this way was thought to have a beneficial effect
connection between dreams and mental health
used an analysis of his patient's dreams in an attempt to cure them of their mental illnesses
result of particularly striking events in their lives
valuable discoveries have resulted from vividly recollected dreams.
seemed enough.

merely predict future events
and
connection between dreams and mental health
seem to be repeated points. Or at least that's what a strict marking scheme would say.
Cambridge examiners aim to give you marks, unlike Singapore examiners, who aim to take marks away.
For the last part of the situational writing,

Seems more like on just dreams in general since i see abit of content similar to what i studyed 2 yrs ago in my introduction to psychology module.
Maybe you the 1 who either got a wet dream last night or got a wet dream during the exam to only have that in ur brain.
