Regardless what subjects u took in O's, as long as u do well enough to qualify for JC, u can get into JC however ur subject choices is limited by what u took in O's. For ur case, its unlikely for u to be able to enter the science stream in JC.

Nope. Only certain JCs provide a bridging course but that is very brief and not really enough to help u understand everything without ALOT of effort on ur part.
Without A maths, u will not be able to do H2 maths in JC and restricted to only H1 maths.

It may affect ur choices of degrees in future especially if u want to do a science/engineering degree and is of little concern if u intend to do anything in the arts, social science etc fields.

But when I'm in poly/JC, I still have the choice to study A maths ?

In poly, if u don't have A maths, u will be required to take 1 or 2 extra maths modules more than the rest but ultimately u get a diploma that is the same with everyone else so missing out A maths will not affect u.
If u go JC, taking H1 maths is like taking A maths but u will miss out on the more advanced H2 maths content which is part of the engineering maths u will study even in poly.

So if I go to JC, they will stress out everything on A maths for me towards the A lvls ?

I am not a JC student and my peers have all left JC too long ago to know what is there now but H1 maths is similar to A maths only and that will not be sufficient to help u survive uni maths.
Considering even students with H2 maths can have problems when they are doing uni maths, someone with only H1 maths will be worse.

What will happen to JC students who take H1 maths ?

As i said, either their course choices is limited or else they have a much harder time in uni if they are doing any science or engineering degrees cos they all need a decent level of maths background.

What do u want to do in future? All the homework forum regulars know that i always promote poly education and in this case as well i will say its better for u esp if u know what u wanna do in future since the maths issue will not be an issue in poly since i had many coursemates in the past without A maths who just went to do an extra maths module in poly and they managed to take and understand all the later maths modules together with those of us who have already done A maths in our O's.
