I agree with you, Physics goes well with Calculus, and yes I'm referring to the Science industry. It is limiting, but it opens doors like Biomed, Pre-med.
Yes, I would totally agree with you as well under engineering, so that depends on what she wants to be in the future.
I didn't have tertiary education in Singapore, but I took all the advanced placement sciences and I end up a Business Major in Economics and Finance.
So I guess for the threadstarter, experiment and discover your passion.
