Have u ask urself what you wan do in future?
Regardless, Choice 1 or 2 would generally be better cos POA is not exactly useful. Even if you wanna do business courses in future, POA would not give you much of an advantage according to my business/accountancy friends who say that what is learnt is not very related.
Geog or hist depends on ur interest. Are you better with memorising events or better at memorising facts and applying them.
Alot of similar questions have been asked recently about subject combinations so you can refer to them as well.

U will also need draw in chemistry and physics though not the art type of drawing. Its a science subject and not a art subject so how well u draw is not impt as long as ppl can understand what u drawing.
I don't take POA so i cannot say what it teaches but most ppl tell me its relatively useless and doesn't give much advantage even if they choose to study it at higher levels like poly or uni.
U don't need a subject to teach you to save money. POA should be more on company or business level and not individual finance.

The drawing in Biology section does not requires you to be artist for you to draw. The drawing is a few simple structures only. Not as tough as what your cousin said.
what subject combination you take? Or can you at least tell me the advantages between POA and Biology?

Biology for O's lets u take Biology for A's. Gives u a background in biology should you wanna go poly and take any bio related courses.
POA... Nothing good that i know of except its just another subject that you can take in O's cos regardless poly or uni you will either study it again or study something very different from it.
ur humanities so good why you never consider double humanities double science or double humanities triple science? haha
definitely choice 1/2..
your el lit damn good, consider taking it (:
sec school lit and upper sec lit hell of a diferent, at least for my school .
'' Which will allow you to have a better score in O-Level.''
wth?

I'm from the second band out of five bands in my school. Each band consist of 40 students. I think I should be in the first half of the band. I don't know the actual ranking position because my school only put the band you are in.
The following are my results (the results are what I got for EOY only, not the overall)
English - 67.8
Chinese - 69.0
Maths- 73
Science-71.5
Geography-80
History-70
Literature- 88.0
-Only people who are willing to help are welcomed, flamers/sabotages please leave.
This are the choices I am considering, hopefully you guys can comment.
Choice A- EL / MTL / Triple Science/ E maths / A maths / SS&Hist
Choice B - EL / MTL / Triple Science/ E maths / A maths / SS&Geog
Choice F - EL / MTL / Double Science (Phy Chem) / E maths / A maths / SS&Geog / POA
I'm just considering whether to take Biology or POA.
Hmm...
Properly punctuated posts, relatively high grades, strong in humanities.
Obviously, you should be fighting for the chance to take pure Literature. Not sure if your school offers it. Do tell us.
Once again, Amaths is a must.
Since the third science is Biology, I recommend you only take biology if you managed to get pure Literature instead of pure Geography, while if you are stuck with pure Geography, don't take triple sciences. Biology together with pure Geography can be very, very taxing, especially combined with double mathematics.
If there is no pure Geography/pure Literature option, stick with SS + History combination. It's the best humanities elective choice to take imho.
Elective literature is fail.
Elective geography is bigger fail.
Elective history is also fail, but not as bad fail as the other two electives.
Another alternative is if your school offers full history. Then taking SS + Literature or SS + Geography is okay.
You need to inform us what your school offers rather than just what you want.

Hi Hehe-Haha-Hoho,
Biology will no doubt be a tougher subject to score than POA, but it will also be a more useful subject for you in time to come.
As for Triple Sciences and Double Sciences, I will make a short list of some of the advantages and disadvantages of Triple Sciences. For double Sciences, you will just need to swap the advantages of Triple Sciences with its disadvantages.
Triple Science
Advantages:
- Broader content knowledge base
- More options in choosing courses/subjects when you enter Poly/JC, provided that you can do well for all of them
- Priority in entering the more prestigious JCs if you do well for all your subjects
Disadvantages:
- If you have planned ahead to enter degree courses such as accountancy or electrical engineering, Chemistry and Biology will not be of a great help, thus two Pure Science subjects will suffice.
- You will have to put in extra time and effort.
Cheers.
My answer still stands.
Take SS + History. History is the elective that is the most worth taking, both in terms of content you learn and ability to score.
And to add on to what TrueHeart said (everything was completely true), POA is considered by some to be a "cheap A1" with only a little bit of studying needed, which is why the "elite" schools only offer it to their worst students.
Just something for you to think about if your pride gets in the way of taking POA (which ought to be a free A1 for someone with your calibre).
Meanwhile Biology is the complete opposite. It's harder to score, deemed more worthy as a subject as most "elite" schools offer it as the third and "top" science.
I think if u wanna to take Biology, you must be able to memorize facts.

While Biology can be an A1 only if you memorise hard enough and is useful when you got to JC? Is that it?
Bio is only useful if u intend to do life science courses in future and only if u wanna do H2/3 Bio in JC if not its as useless as POA.

Nice subject combination, which school are you from ?

Anyway this is the option form.
dkcx If I start to learn Biology in JC is it too late? Or is it even possible to learn Biology then? Because the FREE A1 from POA is quite tempting.
It will depends on JC, most JCs won't let u take H2 bio without O's bio but some have succeed in their request but JCs will normally give u some terms like u need get a C grade in ur 1st test or u are kick out of the class etc according to 1 of my friends who did H2 Bio without O's bio.

what you mean by combined humanities? SS + History?
Which is better? Geography or History? My parents keep telling me to go to Geography.
