L1R5 Prediction Thread

Hello!

First and foremost, congratulations to all my fellow O' Level candidates of 2009.
The examinations are finally over! Now we can enjoy two months of relaxation and parties before we receive our results.

As I have mentioned before, I would be creating this thread so as for all of us to predict and post what we expect our O' Level results to be like, be it just for laughs or realistic hopes and aims.

I, on the other hand, am simply curious as to what my peers expect from all that they've done, given that we are the second batch to take the new syllabus and that most of the papers were extremely easy, thus upsetting the entire bell curve system.

For people like me, who choose to predict their worst possible results, we are likely to be in for a pleasant surprise when we receive our results next year.

My pessimistic predictions are as follows.

ACJC to be exact.

I'm assuming all my As to be A2s and all my Bs to be B4s :)

wait for exampaper.com's answers lo..they are very accurate and are probably coming soon.

hais, if i get B3 in english, i very very happy already, since i totally screwed up in my situational writing in which it's as bad as not doing the letter =/ B4 is still good :) ......reality is cruel.

A D7 in english will be accepted by the polys but you are required to retake english in ur 1st yr of study. If you do not pass in the 2nd try, u will be removed from ur course as far as how things were when i was in poly yrs ago. Not sure whether they have changed it though.

Btw, O' Levels is seriously a joke. You can actually last minute study for it and still score fairly well. This isn't even remotely possible with the A' Levels.

I have checked out the ACJC KI and H2 Maths papers and their respective syllabus, and I'm telling you it makes Amaths and Pure Literature look like those 40-word compositions we used to write in Primary One.

FYI, mikethm is a mathematics tutor, I believe.

He probably has 26 students under him; ergo he doesn't take 26 subjects.

she said that those were her "pessimistic predictions". so it's obvious that she expects to get an L1R5 that's better than 14 duh.

I am well aware of the requirements to get into ACJC.

And if I get a raw score of 10 for L1R5, I would get 10-2-2 = 6, which would most certainly secure me a place in ACJC Arts Stream, combined with my CCA records.

There is also appeal, and then there is CJC, and then SRJC. :)
