Is there even a vet course in poly?
The new uni is a science/design type of uni and vet is not something anyway close to their annouced offerings.
there are currently only 2 courses of vet in poly.
NP (new couse '10) - Veterinary BioScience
TP (cop = 11) - Veterinary Technology...
but what's the difference between BioScience and Technology?
And also, Biotechnology also consists a lil bit of Vet, so does biotech still stand a chance of getting into a vet course in uni?
My prediction for science is A1, but worse comes to worse is A2.
But pure science students definitely stand a better chance right? Since i don't take biology. (chem/phy comb. sci)

I didn't know the polys offer vet science now. Regarding their contents, go read the course modules and visit them during the open house for more info.
There is no vet course in the local unis i believe so you have to look at overseas uni and their respective requirements for their vet science degree.

Chances are equal, your grade counts. Biology students may understand some of the concepts easily, but it's not a disadvantage if you're chem/phy student.
The basics of the module will be taught, and usually it's at 'O' level depth. After the basics, you'll be brought into the jest of the modules which somehow make no difference to whether you're a Pure Biology or comb bio student or chem/phy student.
Hope that helps :)
